Honorable Mention #1:
The Departed (Marty Scorsese)I know that I'll take some flack for putting this only as an honorable mention, but this "masterpiece" by Scorsese was pure entertainment for me, and nothing more. I didn't garner any deeper meaning, and although the film was fun, it was a tad too long and just isn't my type of film. However, I can't deny the great story, performances, and ridiculously clean directing.
